  1. really great blog katie, ive worked with young people with autistic disorders for about 5 years, but nothing compared to being a parent of one so hats off to you. granted autism is not something i would wish upon anyone, but i have learnt SO much by working with these amazing individuals. Their brain just works so differently, and sometimes this is a good thing something we can learn from. e.g. lack of inhibition – forgetting about others, not caring what people think of me. this is something i have endured for many years, but what i have learnt from people i have worked with who have had autism, is this: love life, live every moment, and who cares what anyone thinks about it?

  2. hi just wondering if its ok for me to email you? I have a few questions on home schooling and how I would go about getting a statement of asd for my child thanks
